MAURITIUS
 Mauritius is situated on the south east of the African continent. It is also on the east of Madagascar.
The island was first discovered by the Portuguese in the 1507, then there was the first dutch settlers who lived there between 1598 and abandoned the island in 1710. Then the french colony came in 1715, after that the British took over in 1810. Mauritius became independent in 1968 and Republic in 1992.


Beaches.

Mauritius is surrounded by coral reefs. There are many beautiful beaches and turquoise sea water. In the north, theres Pereybere beach, Grand bay, Cap Malheureux, they all nice beach inside the lagoon.
East side theres Belle mare beach, ile aux cerfs. West side theres Flic en flac. South side theres blue bay, Le morne and much more beaches which i didnt mentioned. Theres so many beaches where one can go on the island.





  FOOD 
  Food in Mauritius is the blending of different culture. From Indian, chinese and European food. One can find food everywhere on the island, theres lots of street food, restaurant which serves all kind of delicious typical food.


 Port Louis Market. You can find all kind of tropical foods, mango, lychee,banana, longanes,papaya and many more. Also many artisanal products, handmade basket, flip flop. Lots of street food selling famous mauritian Dal puri, roti, gateau piments, etc ....

Lots of tropical fruits, like the lychees, mango, banana, pineapple and so many more......




Lots one can do on the island, like deep sea fishing, diving, golf, swim with dolphin, catamaran trip, zoo, snokelling, excursions, sugar cane factory, salt factory !!!!!




 Horse racing
 Horse racing is very famous in Mauritius, every saturday is held the events. Theres lots of people, family, children, food stalls on this occasion. Theres a famous race called the Maiden Cup and is held every year !!!!


Mauritian sega 
 Sega was originally introduced by the African ancestors and originates from East and Southern Africa. Today it has been infused with local rhythms and instruments. The sega is the most typical native dance of Mauritius. The traditional instrumentation includes the ravanne, a goat-skin covered drum, thetriangle, and the maravane
